Hi, I'm Hazel

I have a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from The College of Naturopathic Medicine and am BANT and CNHC registered. I also have a BSc in Pharmacy and still practice

Through working as a pharmacist for over 30 years, a continuous thread has been my success in improving the health of my clients through sound dietary, supplements and lifestyle advice. I enjoy close relationships with everyone I work with and gain enormous satisfaction from assisting in their positive journey to optimal health

My training as a pharmacist adds a unique dimension to my knowledge and skillset and complements my role as a nutritional therapist. I am committed to building a stronger and more resilient you and in helping you to experience increased wellness and vitality for your situation.

What clients say about me...

"Hazel's support, knowledge, recommendations and patience helped me reach my goals. I am more aware of what is good for me and feel so much better"

Why did I become a Nutritional Therapist?

Over many years of being a community pharmacist (now I am a clinical pharmacist in a GP surgery) I saw the benefit in conventional medication, however, there was always room for lifestyle advice/coaching and deep diving to the root cause and complementing the healing process with supplementation, diet and alternative approaches.

I, myself, suffered with IBS and through my own lifestyle choices, foods and supplementation took back control of my life.

3 years of studying my level 6 diploma whilst managing a very busy pharmacy through covid was challenging but it was the best thing I could have done and I love researching, reading and having discussions with like minded or not health professionals as it expands my world in order to support you with your health and well being at the core.

Success Stories

Here are just a few of my client case studies but there are many more examples with conditions such as: diabetes and pre diabetes that is now in range; general fatigue that has improved; eczema that is controlled; hormonal issues that are stabilised; constipation and diarrhoea; not absorbing nutrients well (could be stoma or other reasons); pain; auto immunity; stress; poor immunity; cardiovascular health; blood pressure; liver health; toxic load; allergies and histamine issues... The list of people who have regained control of their lives is endless.

I love making a difference and have a passion for health.

I cannot diagnose conditions and quite often liaise with other health professionals but I am on your side for you to improve your symptoms and probe to get to the root cause.

Lynda was afraid to leave the house as bowel urgency would catch her unaware in her daily life. She longed to go on holiday and visit her family. After working with me and addressing the root cause this issue reduced significantly and she now frequently visits them and is building relationships with her grandchildren.

Andrew had covid and never quite felt his energy levels returned to what they were. Through working together over a period of months with foods, tests and supplementation and  his energy levels are improving. This is a slow process but his gradual ability to live life again is huge.

Leticia was fed up with repeated urinary tract infections. Being told there was nothing wrong and it was in her mind. We looked at lifestyle, hormones, nutrition , testing and with the correct protocol in place she is back to enjoying her life again without fear.

My 5 Step Process

1.

Before committing to a package, I offer a FREE 15 minute consultation, over the phone or video call.

This gives you an opportunity to discuss your health and the reason you are interested and we can see if I can help you.

2.

When you book a consultation you will be sent a detailed questionnaire and food diary via an online portal

To complete prior to your consultation, the questionnaire asks about your medical history, symptoms, current diet and lifestyle. It typically takes 30 minutes to complete

Please be honest and accurate with your answers as this will help me to piece together the jigsaw of your personal story

All the information provided is completely confidential.

3.

Your initial consultation is conducted either by phone or online video chat and lasts 75 minutes. We will talk through your concerns, symptoms, health, family history and any significant events that have contributed your symptoms

Any recent GP tests or laboratory results you have will also be assessed and ideally sent to me at least 48 hours prior to this consultation

Your health goals will be central to the process and I will ask you very detailed questions to get to the root cause in order to assess and research the steps required to improve your wellbeing

Functional tests and supplements may be recommended at an extra cost.

4.

You are unique and your plan is personalised to you with your wellbeing at the centre. The plan will be returned to you a few days after your consultation.

It will include:

  • Additional resources

  • Suggested supplements

5.

Any follow-up consultations last 40 minutes.

They are designed to further support your journey and fine tune your plan to reflect and build on the progress you are making.
